Once we’re aligned, your date is secured, and the planning officially begins. At this stage, you’ll receive a personalized planning guide that outlines the steps and helps you feel supported as we move forward together.

PLANNING + CONSULTATIONS
This is where the details come alive. From curating design boards that reflect your style to recommending Hawaiʻi’s most trusted vendors, I’ll guide you through decisions with clarity and ease. Together, we’ll create a plan that balances refined design with thoughtful coordination.

For couples planning destination weddings in Hawaiʻi, seeing your venue, or having me walk it on your behalf, can make all the difference. I’ll arrange site visits, tastings, and video tours.

YOUR WEDDING
The day you’ve been dreaming of has arrived! I’ll plan your rehearsal and ensure everyone feels prepared. On your wedding day, or throughout your entire wedding weekend, I’ll be there managing the timeline, vendors, and details, so you can be fully present. What is the budget for a Marea Atelier wedding?
While we don’t set strict budgets, we recommend planning a minimum investment of $1,000–$1,500 per guest to create an elevated wedding experience in Hawaiʻi. This allows us to collaborate with the islands’ top vendors and design a refined celebration with every detail considered.
When should we book you?
We recommend securing your date with Marea Atelier 12–18 months before your wedding for the best selection of venues and vendors. That said, we also welcome more condensed timelines and have the experience to bring everything together beautifully.
Do you plan weddings on Kauaʻi?
Yes! In addition to the Big Island, we love planning weddings and elopements on Kauaʻi and Maui. From intimate beachside elopements and proposals to luxury resort weddings, we help you bring your vision to life across the Hawaiian islands.
What size of wedding is ideal for Hawaiʻi?
We specialize in weddings of 100 guests or fewer, which we’ve found to be the perfect size for destination weddings in Hawaiʻi. Smaller guest counts allow couples to create a meaningful, elevated experience for everyone while still embracing the intimacy and beauty that island weddings are known for.
Do you also help with design?
Absolutely. Alongside coordination, we provide wedding design guidance to ensure your colors, florals, and overall aesthetic reflect your story and style. Every design element is carefully chosen to create a cohesive, elevated experience.
Do you plan proposals?
Yes! We love helping couples plan unforgettable proposals in Hawaiʻi, whether on a secluded beach at sunset (or sunrise!), overlooking a dramatic cliffside, or in the gardens of a luxury resort. We handle the details so you can focus on the moment itself.
